As designers, we develop a concept for the stores which allows customer to travel in the present of the
brand, connecting to its history and visualising the future. And we decided to name this as Live
Travelling with Kartell. We divided the space into four parts according to time lapses. The past provides an emotional experience to the customers, the future is a vision, yet to come, informing the users of the things in
store for them and the present is a platform weaving the past and the present together along with
giving a chance to the customers to live and experience the products. The fourth time lapse is the
shop window, which allows the customer to travel to different eras of time from across the world
alongside Kartell products.

We create scenarios to display the product in a way which shows its adaptability to various
environments and global cultures. For this, we invite young artists from all over the world to portray
their talent of hand-weaving the traditional and cultural patterns of their country onto panels which
serve as back-drops for Kartell products. This gives us a chance not only to satisfy the needs of the
present day targets but also to reach out to a new target group and thus an entire community
associated with them.

Our proposal for the shop is flexible, which can be adjusted according to the needs of different
events and is also adaptable to various shop sizes.
In the end, what we create is a journey between Time and Space in Kartell’s identity.
